Introducing our 2025-2026 Ambassadors!

The Performers Edge Wellness Dance Ambassador program is a new program that was created out of the desire to give back to the local dance community and create positive relationships with dancers in our local competitive studios. This allows dancers to see that there’s access to wellness services for every athlete (even artistic athletes), and allows us to create a much more positive, approachable environment for dancers to seek wellness services.

Our ambassadors will receive monthly wellness sessions for the entire season which will help them work toward achieving their performance goals this dance year. We look forward to seeing their growth over the next 10-11 months!

These dancers applied to the program in August of 2025 and were chosen toward the end of the month. We received 10 competitive applications from dancers from 4 area dance studios. The dancers chosen had demonstrated clear goals on their applications as well as a strong work ethic and desire to improve. We are honored to share in a small piece of their dance journey and can’t wait to see what they accomplish this year.

Dancer Bio:

Courtney is in the 8th grade at Hardyston Middle School.  She has 2 older brothers and a Golden Retriever named Bella.  This is her 11th year dancing at Dance Expression Dance Arts.  She started ballet there at 3 years old.  She have been competing since 2021 and joined the Dance Performance Company in 2023.  She loves all dance styles, but my favorite style of dance is Hip Hop.

She dances because it is a way to express hersself and a way to get away from the real world.  She also loves performing on stage.

Her biggest dance achievement is being chosen to be Simba, a lead in her dance company’s production of The Lion King.

She also participates in her school’s band, choir, advanced art, student council, and takes gymnastics lessons.
